1. How to turn on Firewall on Windows
Step 1. Open the Firewall management program
– Method 1: Go to Start-> Run-> Type Firewall.cpl and click OK
– Method 2: Open the search tool of the window (Press window + S) -> Find Firewall-> Click on the search result “Windows Firewall”
Step 2. Click “Turn Windows Firewall on or off” in the left menu
Step 3. Click Turn on Windows Firewall for both Private network settings and Public network settings then click OK
2. How to open the Remote Desktop port
Opening the Firewall will prevent the Remote Desktop program from working. To make it work we need to open port 3389 and do all the step below.Now is all step to open port on Firewall for Remote Desktop Connection
Step 1. Open Windows Filewall and select “Advanced settings”
Step 2. Choose “Inbound Rules” in the left
Step 3.Choose “New Rules..” .
Step 4.Choose ”Custom” and click Next
Step 5.Choose “All Programs “ and click Next
Step 6. Configure as shown below
and then just Next..Next. These step quite easy
Choose “Allow the connection” then click Next
and then give it a name. You can name it like : Remote Desktop Connection ” to see it easily.
